What level of experience does your team have?
The team at The Military Defense Firm is comprised of former military prosecutors and defense attorneys. All of our lawyers and staff have served in the military and understand the position that you are in. Our defense attorneys have each prosecuted or defended more than fifty criminal cases, and our Founding Attorney, Josh Traeger, has the experience of more than 250 courts-martial. We are among the most experienced military justice lawyers in the world.

You don't have an office where I am stationed. How can we work together?
We have offices in Michigan and Colorado, and our attorneys are often spread around the country. Even though we may not have an office near you, we can easily talk on the phone, via email, and via Zoom or Teams. We regularly meet with client via video teleconference. We can also schedule a time to visit you where you are stationed, if your case requires it.
For discharge boards and courts-martial, we will travel to the installation where you are stationed to represent you. We pride ourselves on experience, and our team of attorneys has traveled to most every military installation in the world.
How much does your law firm cost?
When you call us to discuss your case, we will talk about specifics in terms of billing and costs. One thing we can promise, however, is that you will never be surprised by our bills. All of our services are offered on a “flat fee” basis, which just means that we tell you the cost before you hire us. This ensures that you know, up front, how much our services will cost. Unlike some lawyers, who bill you by the minute for their time, our team works on a standard, one-time fee.
